Human activities in Genting

The fresh cool air around the Genting Highland get rids of the mood in summer. Enjoy the exciting and fun rides at the theme park and the cold air blows softly against the face. Anyway, some human activities also can be interesting and funny.

In the Halloween day, Genting highlands made a lot of fun theme outdoor such as Ghost village.

The zombies were performing the PSY's Gentleman dance. It is a very interesting performance. Do you have seen a zombie dance before?

In the Christmas eve, Genting highlands decorated full of Merry Christmas , such as Santa Claus , deer, snow. Star world professional dance studio brought variety of dance to celebrate the coming Christmas. 

Cable car is an interesting vehicle that we can try it. It will take us to Genting Highlands. If you feel you are tired to drive to upper hill of Genting Highlands, then you can try this .

The magician was performing a series of magic shows. The excited show grabbed the audience’s attraction. All the watchers were being startled by his performance.

Architectural and cultural conversation on the buildings

It is a main building at Genting name called Genting hotel. It's about 20 floor height and contain the Genting's logo on the top of building. It represent a landmark over the Malaysia.

It was an interested building which is contain a few colours at the wall of hotel and it's name called First Wolrd Hotel. Rectangle long shape and with red, blue, yellow and green as its theme colour to cover all the external wall.

It is Maxim hotel. An expensive hotel and booking with member casino Gold card only. A lot of artist or president will check in here to prevent any disturbing and it was more comfortable compare to other hotel at Genting

                        

That was a First World Cineplex which is located atthe first floor in the First World Hotel. Beside a big stage which is the area called Time Square area.

The lady liberty was also a big main point in the Time Square area. It represent freedom of people and voice. It the highest art product at the First World's Time Square and it located beside the big stage also .

It's inside First World hotel first floor. A building named as Shanghai Street. A plenty of Shanghai restaurant and full of Shanghai environment.

A mini Eiffel Tower which is behind the big stage and near to Shanghai Street. Look like we are at Paris and there are a lot of peoples was admiring the wonderful building.

Food in Genting Highlands

Gohtong Jaya is a satellite town of Genting Highland, it located on a plateau 5km before the resort on the peak. It was erected and named after Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong, the chairman of Genting Group.

There are 75% of Chinese living in Gohtong Jaya, others 25% are Malay, Indian or Immigrants. The majority of population in Gohtong Jaya are Chinese, therefore all the restaurants are doing chinese business.

In Gohtong Jaya, there are a lots of  seafood restaurants. Maybe because of the freshness makes the seafood taste better.

Beside that, the food processing methods are fast enough and to make sure that customers are not waiting too long for their meal.

We can also find the famous `Klang Bak Kut Teh’ in Gohtong Jaya. The name literally translates as “meat bone tea” and at its simplest, consists of meaty pork tibs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices. Bak Kut Teh is usually eaten with rice or noodles, and often served with `yau char kwai’ (strips of  fried dough).

Apart from chinese restaurant, there are also selling some noodles and drinks in the hawker stalls.

Culture in genting highlands

Chin Swee Caves Temple, with all these added facilities and attractions will be a place of interest to all

  and is expected to become one of the leading Chinese temples in South East Asia. Besides being a place to pay homage

  to the Reverend Chin Swee for all his good deeds, it will also be a place for understanding the richness of ancient

  Chinese traditions enabling all to understand some of the teachings of past Chinese teachers and sages that have become

  the basis of traditional Chinese culture.

The Temple will be a place of great cultural heritage for everyone to learn

  and benefit from. The temple will also be a venue for group activities, meditation, yoga, tai chi and the

  like, regardless of race and religion.

The rock gives the necessary support to the statue while the stream provides clear cool mineral water throughout the year.

  This water has been named 慏ragon Mineral Water? At the temple in Penglai Village the water was said to have healed 

  the sick.

This statue is very famous and visited by tens and thousands of people yearly.

  People made offerings of candles and incense and asked Chin Swee for blessings. It is said that the bigger the statue,

  the better the blessings as it stabilizes the area and brings calmness.

Plaques outside each hell to describe the causes to take rebirth of each hell. Judging the afterlives

  provided what we did for the past.

The 18 Arhats according to Chinese Buddhism outside at the Chin Swee temple.
